OC PEPPER SPRAY/BATON TRAINING CERTIFICATION
At Global Security Solutions, we offer comprehensive OC spray training for security officers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively and safely use this non-lethal option in their line of duty. Our training program covers a range of essential topics, including the laws and regulations governing OC spray use, the physiological effects of OC spray on the human body, proper handling and storage techniques, and practical application scenarios.

At Global Security Solutions, we offer Tactical Handcuffing training to equip security officers with the skills necessary for effective and safe application of handcuffs in a variety of scenarios. Our training program covers essential topics such as the legalities surrounding handcuff use, the different types of handcuffs and their mechanisms, proper handcuffing techniques, and strategies for controlling compliant and non-compliant subjects. We focus on communication skills, de-escalation tactics, and situational awareness to ensure officers can safely apply handcuffs in a controlled and calm manner. Practical exercises and simulated scenarios allow officers to practice their skills and proficiency in real-world situations. GLOBAL SECURITY’S 20HR ONLINE UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER TRAINING
This online 20-hour course is designed to meet and exceed state requirements, providing aspiring security professionals with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the private security industry. Participants will explore key topics such as the law of arrest, search, and seizures as it applies to private security; civil and criminal liability for actions taken on the job; and the appropriate use of force, including non-lethal methods. The course also covers effective verbal communication, the offenses under the Illinois Criminal Code of 2012 related to protecting persons and property, and the role of private security officers within the criminal justice system. Training extends to fire prevention, safety protocols, and equipment handling, as well as essential observation and report writing techniques. Participants will also learn about customer service, civil rights, public relations, and identifying terrorist organizations and threats under federal and state statutes. This intensive 28-hour course is specifically designed to meet the state requirements and provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a confident and capable armed security officer.
